CDFI Fund's status as a government corporation or agency
[edit]My sense based on this CRS report on CDFI is that the CDFI fund was originally created in 1994 as a government corporation, but was changed to being an agency under Treasury in 1995. It is listed as a government corporation in this 1995 GAO report on government corporations but not in this 2011 CRS report on government corporations. Following that logic, it makes sense to include it in inclusive lists of current and former government corporations, but not in lists of current government corporations.
