WPMILHIST

[edit]

Tagged as part of the project based on the military aspects of the rivers history. If more aporopreite articles exist for the battles/skirmishes fought along the river then feel free to remove this tag and place it the relevent article talk pages. Note: under "History" there is a linked term "Yamasee War." However, it does NOT take you to the war, but rather to a related site entitled "Yamasee." A linked term "Yamasee War" on the LATTER site correctly points to the war. I don't know how to change these things, but wanted to make this note. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bob103051 (talkcontribs) 02:47, March 9, 2009

Suggested fix

[edit]

I don't know this area so I'm not sure exactly what to write, but someone should fix the last sentence of the History section, which reads "The bridge across the Combahee on US Highway 17 is the location today." This sentence is poorly written in my opinion.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Noam E. Bechhofer (talkcontribs) 23:52, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
