[edit]What is the linguistic background of this distinction? It would seem to be just different Latin grammatical gender forms of the same adjective in the plural (although Wiktionary gives -oidia with -i- and not -oidea as the neuter of -oides), but maybe I'm missing something or there is a special rule for the use of these endings in biology? 62.73.72.3 (talk) 22:54, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
