No original research

Hello Rdsaam. I appreciate your efforts to improve this page, but it seems to me that they are in conflict with one of wikipedia's basic policies, WP:NOR: no original research. This means that articles should not include new and/or speculative ideas that have not been published in reputable journals. Is this really photon?

In the very first paragraph "which via the Anderson-Higgs mechanism makes the photon massive"

It really means "photon". The photon is the quantum of the electromagnetic field, and the Meissner effect (exclusion of magnetic fields) arises from the photon becoming massive. I wikilinked "photon" to make this clearer. Dark Formal (talk) 04:09, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The entire history section appears to have been plagiarized (with some minimal alterations here and there) from a working paper by Pinghan Chu (2006) "Color Superconductivity", pp. 2-3, Retrieved September 20, 2013, from [1].
