There's been a bit of back and forth. Can someone explain what these edits are trying to achieve? There appear to be some regressions in the addition of piped links. Is there anything good or necessary here? ~Kvng (talk) 14:31, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
Colour frame sequence decoding
[edit]I should perhaps add some material on the fact that the colour frame sequence can (by its very definition) be discovered directly from the composite signal via the relationship of the colour burst to the line sync. The fact that it is treated as metadata in the analog editing process is an artefact of the long and tortuous process of the development of composite video editing. — The Anome (talk) 12:34, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
