Gini Coefficient source incorrect/doesn't match data

[edit]

The currently listed source (World Factbook with the current timestamp) only lists the GINI coefficient until 2028 which is an estimated 50.4. However in a newer version 53.9 is indeed listed for 2023 - hence the source needs to be updated to include the latest release (Jan 2026):

GDP per capita positions

[edit]

Could anyone please update the positioning for both GDP per capita PPP and Nominal?

It should be 85th for PPP and 89th for Nominal as of 2026.

Thanks. Geographe Bay (talk) 12:33, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Just as an FYI, Wikipedia articles don't count as reliable sources. However, I note that both of those articles use the same source as this article for their numbers (the IMF's World Economic Outlook Database), and even though I can't find the actual rankings there, I can verify the dollar figures, and I think it's safe to trust the rankings from those articles, since they use the same source.
