The "Collins English Dictionary" search shows, at present, 68 results in article space. Most, I presume, should be wikilinked here. — Charles Stewart (talk) 21:18, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Citations have been requested for the info about the use of computers for 1979 edition. These pages from New Scientist Vol. 83, No. 1173, 20 Sep 1979 might be a good starting point in looking for info.

(1/3) The main article suggests that the 14th Edition came out last year "was published on August 31, 2023", but suggests it has 200,000 entries, but the 14th Edition I see is advertising 732,000+ entries.

(2/3) Collins Complete and Unabridged - English Dictionary Complete and Unabridged: More than 730,000 words meanings and phrases (14th edition)

(3/3) I'm wondering if there are two series from Collins called `English Dictionary`, for this issue? (talk)

Adding: I have corrected the "number of entries" upward and added the 14th Edition reference that I have (above). If I had time to do the research to uncover all the available ISBNs of the different editions, and build a table, I would do so. Vollink (talk) 18:46, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
