Sale of the Monkees masters

[edit]

The fact that the Monkees masters reverted to Raybert Productions (and were then sold to Rhino Entertainment), while interesting, has nothing to do with the history of Colgems Records, which by then had been defunct for more than twenty years. The item belongs in a Monkees or Arista Records article (if it isn't there already). Adding this footnote is akin to inserting information in a Paul McCartney article about the sale of Columbia Records to Sony, just because Columbia was his label in the US for a few years, or mentioning in a Bob Dylan article how Asylum Records merged with Warner Brothers, long after they released two of Dylan's albums.
