Merge proposal
[edit]It appears that coin slab and coin folder may cover the same subject. Dear editors @Knowledgekid87 and Bruxton:, could you confirm this, or explain why a merge would not be a good idea? Ymnes (talk) 17:04, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- No, a coin folder is where multiple ungraded coins from the same series are held in a cardboard fold out. A coin slab is a single coin which has been graded by a professional company (ie NGC, PCGS). Sometimes multiple slabs may be housed in a binder for auctions, but this isnt the same as folders. - We do not agree, and that is necessary for a merger. I therefore withdraw my nomination, as there is no need to maintain it any longer. Ymnes (talk) 08:35, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
