Hey @StreetcarEnjoyer, if you're planning to work on this there was a previous draft that got deleted for inactivity - you should be able to request a copy of it via WP:REFUND/G13 (though I'm not sure how that works with another page being created in the same place). citation on funding

@StreetcarEnjoyer: just saw your edit, and i'd like to clear up the confusion about mine a little. the followup to the financial update specifies that they had reestablished contact with their donor, that being published three days after the verge post—the citation needed was just for the clarification that the loss of contact was temporary, the part that i added. sorry if that was confusing. "Primary Sources" template

I've added the "{{Primary Sources}}" template to the top of the page. There is some good coverage here from independent tech writer sources, but approximately half the citations are just links back to Cohost itself (or Fediverse posts from the developers, etc).

I understand the desire to present a complete "site history", but realistically if no outside source could be bothered to cover some Cohost news event, then maybe it isn't important enough to warrant a paragraph here either. Hornpipe2 (talk) 22:05, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
