Species

[edit]

Does anyone know if an up to date, complete list of Codonopsis species can be found? The list at http://www.codonopsis.co.uk/ is quite extensive and includes many species not in the current list. Badagnani 03:45, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Common name

Citing Herbalgram: The Journal of the American Botanical Council, Issue 64, pp 44-51, http://www.herbalgram.org/herbalgram/articleview.asp?a=2754 as a source for the term "bonnet bellflower". From the article:

In the horticultural trade, the plant group is known as bonnet bellflowers.

Shouldn't we add a mention of Codonopsis lancifolia (Chinese: hong guo shen, 红果参)? 98.123.38.211 (talk) 00:29, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

That is now a synonym of Cyclocodon lancifolius. Declangi (talk) 13:13, 3 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
