Moving the protein family information to their own pages

[edit]

When I started editing this page, it had not been changed substantially since 2017. That version, "available here". had hardly any information on the chemistry or the reactions involved in the biosynthesis, only descriptions in a Section called "Proteins involved in cobalamin biosynthesis" and an extensive protein family Infobox which was largely taken from the public domain. I have now extensively revised and extended the article and included links to the enzymes which have in almost all cases their own individual pages on Wikipedia. It seems to me that these pages are the correct place to put the protein family information. Hence, I now propose to update the individual enzyme pages (for example Cobalt chelatase) and DELETE the redundant information on this page, including that Section, in a WP:BOLD move. Michael D.
