A long discussion of the meaning of the title, ignoring the elephant in the room!? I think its no secret that John is a 'shirt-lifter', as he would put it :-) The show is full of sexual and scatological humour. Not that there is anything wrong with that. And its very relevant to their choice of title. Why was the article so coy?

Sexuality

As per biographies of living persons, you need references. In his interview November 17-08 Doyle spoke of having hetero relationships and he has a family life in Sydney which I also can't find reference for, for his bio. He told Throsby the reason his humour is scatalogical is "it always gets a reaction". Make of it what you will, Julia Rossi (talk) 23:59, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Buggery, or the more specifically the use of the word in Australia

The idiot who wrote that the less than offensive use of the word 'bugger' was limited to Australia has obviously never been to Britain.
