Confused why Cloze often appears in text with a capital 'C'? Confused why Cloze is spelled with a 'z'?

First/last sentences

I've been taught in my literacy classes that for a cloze assessment, the first and last sentences of the selection must be kept intact in order to establish the subject and such. Is this a variation or what? Metros232 00:38, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

remove merge reco and reform this article so it talks about more than just the exams

This article has a merge reco with cloze exam, but the 'cloze deletion' pattern occurs in more contexts than just the examinations. Consequently it is appropriate to expand this article to indicate that fact. It might be also appropriate to merge cloze exam into this article, but the point is more content and sturcture needs to be added.
