American football career should be spelt American Football career

He made an unusual move which was from Association Football (soccer) to grid-iron football (American Football). Football is called that in England but is called Soccer in America - but American Football in England is called Football in America. So spelling it `American football' in the article initially makes it look like he played soccer in England and then played it in America.

Inconsistencies in career statistics

Hello,

There are some inconsistencies in the table of career statistics in this article. For example the total of goals scored for Tottenham is not the sum of the season totals, nor the sum of the total goals by competition. League Cup goals for the 86-87 season are recorded as 12, while the career total of League Cup goals is 0. The Career total of goals scored is not the sum of the totals for individual clubs, etc. ~2025-31201-14 (talk) 16:00, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
