The statement, "The density of the saturated solution ... increases from 4.25 to 5.0 g/cm3 upon heating from 20 to 90 °C", is perhaps incorrect. The way it is currently written implies that simple heating will increase the density, which is difficult to believe. This statement is cited to reference 4, which is not readily available. However, reference 2 states that the density can be increased by heating the solution AND then adding additional salts, which implies that a greater concentration of salts leads to greater density. It is the density of a certain entity called saturated solution (a solution in which the maximum amount of salt has been dissolved). In other words, the solution is not heated, but "prepared" at each temperature. Materialscientist (talk) 13:49, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
