the article does need improved, it does not need deleted. since the deletion tag was at best misinformed, and lacked any discussion link, i removed it. an encyclopedia with content on contemporary sociology would not be considered complete without prof. offe. --Buridan12:17, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have performed a general WP:WIKIFY and WP:CLEANUP of this article. It would be great if someone with an actual knowledge of sociology could expand a bit on the Fields of research section. Also, the importance of the subject matter still needs to be more justified, so I left that tag in. JoachimK22:13, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
