  • I agree that a photograph with more diversity would be helpful to better represent the intended audience of Wikipedia (for English Wikipedia, all English-speaking human beings). In particular, representing the defining image of a class as consisting of solely male-presenting light-skinned individuals can send a negative message to girls and minorities. Likely not Bali

Although the picture source does say Bali, it's probably a mistake. The pupils are dressed rather warmly, and not how you would dress in Bali which is basically at the Equator. Also they seem to learn Chinese, wich seems strange for a rather young class in Indonesia. This picture is very likely from South Korea. The language on the board is Korean and the Korean flag is displayed above the board. And while international classes exist, this is a very typical layout and structure of Korean classroom. JGB24 (talk) 05:07, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
