The Seattle suburb mentioned in the article, was not a Seattle suburb, but a suburb of Renton, Washington called Kennydale which was north of Renton, on the other side of Lake Washington. I went to elementary school there with Clancy. but he was a few years older. I remember we used to watch him play flag football there, and he was amazing even back then when he was in the sixth grade. He was so fast and strong that he would run around and through the players who could not catch his flag. Later our parents used to take to take us to the Renton high school stadium, just so we could watch him play.
