Clan MacDubhsith

[edit]

I see several anons and one new account have tried to update the article to say Clan MacDubhsith is the new name. MacDubhsith clan unites after 400 years and begins search for leader appears to support that claim. I do not know whether Herald Scotland is a suitable source.-Gadfium (talk) 05:18, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

I reverted the last edit as wholly unencyclopedic and promotional.
Here's a non-paywall link to that article. Probably reflects my unfamiliarity with the topic, but the article is a bit confusing as to what exactly has happened. The article isn't very independent in its sourcing, which is kind of odd to say since there's no leader who can say what's authoritative. It does say that the Court of the Lord Lyon has made a ruling which is supported by this primary source. Oblivy (talk) 05:53, 19 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
