Question: where is the page about Perth (postcode 6000 - the CBD)?

Very good question. One really needs to be written. Melbourne's is at Melbourne city centre, Sydney's is at Sydney central business district which I don't think works quite as well for us, as Perth is an odd shape (it includes stuff way up Stirling Street and behind the East Perth train station for example). I'll raise this at the WP:WA talk page. Orderinchaos 03:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Population

[edit]

Population figures are clearly wrong. Yearly figures from 2005-current are available at http://profile.id.com.au/perth/population-estimate . Could not find ABS data for CoP. Rund717 (talk) 07:50, 9 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

The figures were amended in June 2014 without citation. It looks like someone simply noticed the significant drop in population and assumed this was an error. However, the drop was a result of the City of Perth being substantially reduced in size (Perth is now a very small city, about to be increased marginally in June 2016). A citation to support the original figures (or any other figures) would help to resolve this issue. Skinsmoke (talk) 19:05, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

There was only one line in that article and this article is quite easily able to contain it.
