As I am the webmaster of Melbourne City Opera's website I claim the copyright on behalf of the Company for the text I have published in both places. I have no intention of breaching Wikipedia rules. Your insertion of Ref. 2 is problematic. The performance referred to was not published in other than the Company's Program. The performance took the form of a narrative, written by Dr Talia, and illustrative excerpts from the composer's operas. Unless the reference is made to the Program then I suggest it should be deleted. Pauken (talk) 06:02, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

I think that it is perfectly legitimate to reference entries in a programme book even if most us in the rest of world would never be likely to be able to verfify it from a copy to hand. I've done that very thing from San Francisco Opera program notes. Frankly, I had no idea what Note #2 was refering to, (hence my ???); but it was some sort of note originally..... Please feel free to expand on it.

Titles

I note stylistic changes made to this page; for example La Rondine now becomes La rondine. If so, why is the english translation in the La Rondine primary article not rendered as The swallow? The Italian title of that work is La rondine, see it:La rondine. The WP:WikiProject Opera has guidelines about titling foreign-language works; see Wikipedia:WikiProject Opera/Article guidelines#Operas: capitalization and diacritics.
