The image caption is not showing somebody please help. {{help}}--Dr.saptarshi (talk) 18:31, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's fixed now, you were missing a "|thumb" section which is what gives it the border, if you miss this out it doesn't have a border and thus (since the caption goes inside the border) you don't have a caption. Although the caption will pop up when you hover over it with the mouse if you don't have a border. Hope that makes sense, have a look at how the page is at the moment to see what I changed - Kingpin13 (talk) 18:41, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks a lot. Thanks makes sense. Now I put another image. Can you now put them together at the same level or even better in the same box and combine the two captions by saying image 1 regular inheritance... and image 2 cis Ab inheritance? {{help}}--Dr.saptarshi (talk) 19:16, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sure, the easy way of doing this is using a gallery, which is what I've added to the page, each image is still there in between the <gallery> and the </gallery>. I've set the align property to be right, which means the gallery is on the right of the page, the caption is currently set to equal "CIS", change that if you want, and after each image there's a caption, you can change them easily too. - Kingpin13 (talk) 19:27, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{help}} Thanks a lot kingpin. The jpgs which I edited on paint look very pixelated. Can you or anybody teach me or refer me to instructions about how to draw/convert things to svg? Thanks --user:Dr.saptarshi128.135.202.9 (talk) 06:26, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

There are a lot of tutorials here. fahadsadah (talk,contribs) 06:39, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question

[edit]

Hello. Sorry for my English, I'm French. I find it weird what in the par of document "1 Scenarios" , There's no "If the other parent is type AB". Why ? Thank you for your future answers.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.5.165.190 (talk) 19:19, 13 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Correction

[edit]

"A very rare 4th possibility exists: if the other allele is also Cis AB then the children will be always AB irrespective whatever the other parent is, because they will have one cis AB allele from this parent."

This is incorrect. If both parents are, for example, Cis AB / 0, their children could be Cis AB/Cis AB (thus, blood type AB; 25%), Cis AB / 0 (thus, blood type AB; 50%) or 0 / 0 (thus, blood type 0; 25%). 2A02:908:F16:1A00:9CF0:D1FA:79A:A9ED (talk) 21:14, 18 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I misread. I read it as "the other parent having cis AB" instead of it being the second allele. Please ignore. 2A02:908:F16:1A00:9CF0:D1FA:79A:A9ED (talk) 21:16, 18 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
