First figure doesn't match description, is confusing

First line of Description says "The underlying observation is that humans perceive two musical pitches as similar in color if they differ by an octave."

But in (d) of the first figure (also (b) ) , we see different notes having the same color, yet the color changes (black to orange to white) as the note is held out. Shouldn't each note be essentially the same color as it is held out? This seems to contradict the description of chroma features. Shouldn't the different notes which are *not* octaves apart be different colors? Mcskwayrd (talk) 10:35, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
