Proposed Edit of an "Academic Stub"

Hi Editors!!!

While I have used Wikipedia A LOT and edited some, I'm definitely not an editor. So I could use your help with a proposed update of an article (that's been termed an academic stub -- was never sure what that meant :) ) that references me: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Rose_(electrical_engineer).

Specifically, I'd like an experienced editor (or editorS) to go over the sandboxed article (see link above) and make sure it comports with Wikipedia's usual high standards for content and format, especially since any editing I do directly is arguably self-interest.

So, if you can have at it and let me know what needs changing/support/whatever it would be deeply appreciated. As an academic, I'm used to the review process, so no need to be gentle/kind. :) The idea is to build something that'll be useful and durable.

PS: If and when the update passes muster, I'm not exactly sure how the sandboxed version gets uploaded to the main page. But we'll cross that bridge when/if we come to it. Chris (talk) 19:38, 2 October 2026 (UTC)

This article was previously VfD'd due to lack of notability when User:Cnmirose created it about himself. Although I agree that Wikipedia users should not edit articles about themselves, I believe Dr. Rose has a sufficient claim to notability that was not properly explored in the previous VfD. Therefore I am recreating this article. --malathion ^talk 05:20, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
