The original term was "Christopher Duffy read history at Balliol College, Oxford "

I changed it to Christopher Duffy learned history at Balliol College, Oxford

After checking around I found out that the term read in the context of British university may have specific meaning. If this is true it is only understood by people that are from the UK. Maybe creating a special page and linking to it would make sense.
