Update request – recent work and lead revision (COI disclosed)

[edit]

Hi Wikipedia editors, I’m Christian Ditter, the subject of this article. I’d like to propose an update to ensure the article reflects my more recent work and better describes my directorial focus in a neutral, encyclopedic tone.

I understand Wikipedia’s conflict of interest (COI) guidelines and am posting this request here rather than editing directly, in the spirit of transparency.

- Proposed New Opening Paragraph:

Christian Ditter is a German filmmaker bridging European storytelling and Hollywood scale. He is known for directing emotionally grounded stories about characters navigating extraordinary circumstances. His credits include the romantic comedies Love, Rosie (2014) and How to Be Single (2016), the Netflix techno-thriller Biohackers (2020–2021), and the Apple TV+ mystery-comedy Where’s Wanda(2024). His upcoming film, Momo (2025), adapts Michael Ende's iconic novel and marks his entry into fantasy filmmaking.

- Suggested Updates to Career Section: Add entries for Where’s Wanda and Momo under career and filmography Update description to reflect work in both German and English-language projects

- Supporting Sources: IMDb profile: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0228542/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk Where’s Wanda on Apple TV+: apple.co/-WheresWanda Deadline Momo interview: https://deadline.com/2024/05/momo-writer-director-christian-ditter-producer-christian-becker-on-bringing-english-language-adaptation-of-classic-michael-ende-novel-cannes-market-1235914608/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAae9JpmMMauNsClcp_kQygKN1RlI8l8w16GFZtlf-mPMu0f6EwfXAmzX1EQKng_aem_SNMANHQTD2hOuevNZI5oyw

Thank you for reviewing — I welcome improvements or corrections if needed.

Request to add recent credits (COI disclosed)

[edit]

Following up on my earlier request. I'm the subject of this article and am requesting only factual updates to the filmography, with reliable sources: Add to filmography table:

  • Where's Wanda (2024) – Apple TV+ series, director/executive producer (Apple TV+ page)
  • Momo (2025) – feature film, director/writer/producer (Variety review)

I'm not requesting changes to the lead paragraph – just the filmography facts. Happy to provide additional sources if needed. StillnessAndTime (talk) 03:47, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Edit request: two filmography credits, birth date, photo

[edit]

I am Christian Ditter, the subject of this article, so I am not editing it myself. This follows up my two earlier requests above. For transparency: I also have a second account, CDImuclax, which made five factual edits on Wikidata in July 2026 and has never edited Wikipedia. From now on I will use only this account. I withdraw the May 2025 request about the lead. This request is limited to three factual items.

1. Add two rows at the end of the filmography table, after Biohackers:

|-
|2024–present
|''[[Where's Wanda?]]'' (TV series)
| {{yes}}
| {{yes}}
| {{no}}
|-
|2025
|''[[Momo (2025 film)|Momo]]''
| {{yes}}
| {{no}}
| {{yes}}

Sources:

2. Birth date. The article gives 1 June 1977, cited to Rotten Tomatoes. That date is not correct. Per WP:DOB, please reduce it to the year only (1977) in the infobox and the lead, as the German Wikipedia article does.

3. Infobox image. The infobox has a caption but no image. A freely licensed photo is on Commons and is used on German Wikipedia: File:Christian Ditter on the Green Carpet at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival 01.jpg. Suggested caption: "Ditter at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival".

Thank you. StillnessAndTime (talk) 00:26, 2 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
