Steeldrivers Question

Orphaned references in Chris Stapleton discography
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Chris Stapleton discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I’m A Ram
[edit]Why does I'm a Ram redirect here? Chris Stapleton covered the song, sure, but it wasn’t originally by him; Al Green did the original and there have been other notable cover versions over the years (including an extended reggae rendition by Govt Mule). Why are "promotional singles" listed separately?
[edit]In the download and streaming era, is there even a difference between regular and a "promotional" single? The ones here have independent releases for download (e.g. ) and they chart and are certified like normal singles. It's weird to have to jump back and forth between separate lists to follow Stapleton's singles' history. — AjaxSmack 03:19, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
