Unreferenced tag
[edit]I have not found any sources supporting the article, and the one given reference is not sufficient to locate the source. I am sure this is a language issue, but someone with more knowledge should probably investigate and update the references. --TeaDrinker (talk) 19:28, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

- Looking through various sources mentioning Cholai the only certainty is that it is an alcoholic drink in India. Some sources say distilled. Some say low alcohol. Some say country alcohol. Some say illegal alcohol. It seems that the nearest equivalent in English would be hootch - a home-made and unlicensed alcoholic beverage; however, there are not enough sources to be sure. Without clearer information on this word, we can't even re-direct the title to the nearest appropriate article. SilkTork ✔Tea time 10:56, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
