– The novel has less views than the film. In fact, as a French term, "Chocolat" is ambiguous... not exactly, but I don't always associate it as the novel. I'm sure the readers would go for either the film or the Wiktionary. George Ho (talk) 20:15, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- Read this: Even "Chocolat" is legitimate as an official title for both novel and film. Readers will learn about the history of this word. Even an inept person may realize it for seconds.
