Daniel (son of David) → Chileab – This person is known by two different names in the Hebrew Bible. But "Chileab" has primacy, being in the Samuel narrative, and this way no disambiguation is needed.--Relisted Cúchullain t/c 15:28, 23 August 2012 (UTC) StAnselm (talk) 00:34, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Comment - I would argue that Daniel is more common than Chileab, however son of David does not seem like a good disambiguation, is biblical, or biblical character better? Education does not equal common sense. 我不在乎 05:01, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

- Yes, that might be the more primary "Daniel" in the bible! However, is Chileab an accurate translation? See here. כִלְאָב ("Kileab/Chileab") translates more like "protected by the father", "like the father", or "another love", so is it a "proper name" or a pseudonym? That's the problem with "the bible" it has been translated from "Hebrew" to "Greek" to "Latin" to "English" but never directly from the original to "English", and there is no one left that speaks/reads the same dialect that it was originally written in.--Education does not equal common sense. 我不在乎 06:39, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
