does anyone know when the series will be back on I mean it has been on every year so far, apart from this year have they just stopped showing them?

I'm pleased to say it's back on now on Sunday nights. What the delay was I know not. --Ross UK 22:31, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi does anybody now when series nine is about to start ? 134.100.225.152 (talk) 13:47, 22 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think it might never start - I contacted BBC about this programme some months ago and they told me that:
"I understand that you'd like to know if we're planning another series of this programme.
While there are no current plans to repeat the programme, please be assured that I've registered your interest on our audience log. :This internal document is made available to our programme schedulers and senior management. Although nothing is arranged at the :moment, it's always possible that this might happen at a later date."
A further search revealed that one of the creators or producers of the show no longer works at the BBC, so the show may never return :at all, which hopefully isn't the case! Unlikelylads (talk) 09:55, 11 August 2009 :(UTC)

Series 9 was shown in 2010, after these messages were posted. Since then there has been another hiatus, about which there was an article in the Independent, but it is now scheduled to resume sometime later this year. --Ross UK (talk) 00:15, 20 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
