The Invention of Rosetta Beads

[edit]

I can provide a realistic proposition that indicates rosetta (chevron) beads were not devised by Marietta Baroviero, but rather by her father Angelo. The Maria story is a mistake, based on a single published proposition—that is not even an interpretation of the documents cited. I am a Bead Researcher, and published author on topics related to Venetian beadmaking. Primarily (but not limited to), rosetta work—indicating star beads, chevron beads, and millefiori work.
