Race conditions

[edit]

The Chesham Stakes is basically restricted to horses sired by winners of 1 mile 2 furlongs and over - the race conditions cited from the BHA publication for 2016 state that "for two yrs old only, which were sired by a winner of a race of a mile and a quarter or over (this includes races in excess of nine furlongs and 110 yards and in excess of 1900m)" - the 1900m is not an equivalent of 1m 2f, but is included to allow for sires who ran in races of metric distances. Have added a citation to the document to reference this. --Bcp67 (talk) 05:07, 17 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
