I have moved this sentence out of the paragraph treating St Peter's Church on the grounds that the citation used does not mention the 'wooden archway', which is not mentioned in the wiki article either on the church. Intriguing is the apparent claim the archway was here before the town of Bridgnorth:

Of particular interest is the wooden archway built before the altar, choir and before Bridgnorth.
