Insurance Institute of London

[edit]

The ILL dab page has a red link to Insurance Institute of London. As I understand it (from its website), ILL is a regional sub-organisation of CII, and may not have enough independent notability to warrant ever being a separate article to the CII one. So should Insurance Institute of London simply be a #REDIRECT to this page? -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 13:33, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Edit request: update the financial-planning qualification structure

[edit]

Disclosure: I am affiliated with Exams Academy, an exam-preparation provider, but I have no affiliation with the Chartered Insurance Institute and am not requesting any link to Exams Academy.

The article's Titles and qualifications section describes assessment methods in general terms but does not explain the current credit-based progression in the personal-finance framework. Would an uninvolved editor consider adding a concise paragraph such as:

Within the CII's personal-finance qualifications framework, the Diploma in Financial Planning requires 140 CII credits, including at least 80 credits at diploma level. The Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning requires 290 credits, including at least 120 credits at level 6 and the Financial Planning Process unit (AF5), which is completed last. Individual units use different assessment formats; for example, Investment Principles and Risk (R02) is assessed through a two-hour examination containing 100 multiple-choice questions.
