SR website has born 27 Nov 1905, no date of death, so age = 107!

Registrar-General's online “historic” BDM website: birth 12 Dec 1905, Charles Stanislaus Purdy: son of Agnes Cameron (Purdy) and Leopold Arthur Cadman death no Charles Purdy of right age ie born c1905

No proof he is alive

There is no proof that he is alive, all evidence is to the contrary. There are no survivors from the 1924 Summer Olympics, the last survivor Ivo Pavelić died in 2011 as per this reference. In 2009 Harold Nelson was recognised by the New Zealand Olympic Committee as the oldest living NZ Olympian, as per this reference. DerbyCountyinNZ ^{(Talk Contribs)} 21:11, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
