The name of this article needs to be corrected to "Charlevoix impact structure". This not an impact crater, which is the topographic expression of an impact. In case of the Charlevoix impact structure, the original topographic expression of the impact, its crater, has been destroyed by erosion leaving only the deformed bedrock , which is teh impact structure, behind.
