Potential page split
[edit]I think the section for cflow should be split from the page on GNU cflow. (or, GNU cflow should be a section on a normal cflow page) 73.96.36.33 (talk) 07:13, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- For all the POSIX command articles I've looked at, the article is title for the more general POSIX/UNIX command and the GNU implementation is mentioned as one of its implementations. So, I think this article should be renamed to cflow (POSIX) (yes '(UNIX)' is a more typical suffix, but that's a separate, larger issue that should be rectified). Then, it should start with talking about the POSIX command, then mention the GNU implementation. Stevebroshar (talk) 14:50, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
implementation of the UNIX cflow utility?
[edit]WRT "...was initially an implementation of the UNIX cflow utility."
I don't think it makes sense to say it's an implementation of a utility. A utility _is_ an implementation. This should probably say: 'implementation of the POSIX command' or 'based on the UNIX utility'. I think both may be true even though their implication is different.
