Name of the modern Swiss subunit

[edit]

There appears to be some confusion in the English Wikipedia over the name of the modern Swiss subunit although this article is about the different units of currency to be called the Centime as well as the modern Swiss unit. Please see the discussion I started on the Swiss franc talk page (Talk:Swiss_franc#Name_of_the_subunit_in_Swiss_franc_related_articles) for more information. As far as I can gather the name centime is the best known name in English and it is used in the English-language section on the website of the Swiss National Bank. 1913 French 10 centime

[edit]

The obverse of this French centime apparently depicts Athena and a kid with a hammer, but as yet I have been unable to find any sources, as in who the artist was, etc. kencf0618 (talk) 21:05, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
