His father was Thomas, not Robert
[edit]The father of Postmaster General Cave Johnson was Thomas Johnson, who married Mary Noel. This is in his own autobiographical statement, which can be found in Picturesque Clarksville at this link https://archive.org/details/picturesqueclark00titu/page/n301/mode/2up?q=cave . This was a letter he wrote to his own sons about the family. His grandfather was Henry Johnson, immigrant and Rev. War soldier, listed with the DAR. His father was Thomas,as already stated. My great-great-great grandfather, Dr. Henry Minor Johnson of Tennessee, was the brother of Postmaster General Cave Johnson. There is plenty of other evidence, including with the DAR and cemetery records. I hope this will be changed as it is clearly incorrect. ~2026-36608-42 (talk) 16:27, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
