Catchpoint (game show) → Catchpoint – BBC is not part of the show title. X201 (talk) 07:59, 26 August 2025 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). U-Mos (talk) 09:35, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
NB This article was at the title BBC Catchpoint when the technical request was made. @X201 and Zxcvbnm: Courtesy ping. U-Mos (talk) 09:35, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose It doesn't seem notable, so the current name is fine for now. It would not qualify for primary topic in my view. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 09:43, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Support as procedural nominator: outside Wiktionary I can see no significant evidence that "catchpoint" (as a single word) is a common alternative to "catch point(s)" (e.g. give no evidence of the alternative form), and furthermore the latter is always pluralised. A quick google search is also dominated by this game show and a registered company of the same name, rather than the rail device, so I think this is an appropriate primary topic. A hat note can guide users searching for Catch points on. U-Mos (talk) 10:23, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Support per U-Mos. A hatnote can disambiguate with catch points, adding parenthetical disambiguation is not needed. Mdewman6 (talk) 21:56, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Support as per what I said at the Technical Move Request and per U-Mos above. - X201 (talk) 11:25, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
