Question

What happenened to Hadrian's ashes? Was his tomb left alone during the various architectural changes that took place? Does it exist in any form today? Is there an ossuary?

Good question -- I just added a sentence on that to the article in case you want to see. I couldn't find anything definite. All that I could find is that the urns of imperial ashes have been missing for over a thousand years. There was never an ossuary to my knowledge -- that is a box that holds bones, whereas an urn is a smaller container holding ashes. Mlouns 06:13, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

Historical location

In Assassin's Creed Brotherhood the Castel is depicted as being inside the Vatican. Was this ever the case? Have the Vatican's boundaries changed significantly or was the game just using artistic license? 130.159.84.44 (talk) 17:43, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Another question

So is this fortification part of the territory of Vatican City? Or of Italy? If it is part of Italy (which I suspect is the case) what were the details of its transfer (or forcible possession)? If I recall my modern Italian history correctly, the 19th century Popes weren't very keen on the idea of a secular state in control of Rome. -- llywrch (talk) 16:14, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

Pope or pope

Pope is written with a capital letter: "Pope", not "pope". In my opinion, this edition is good. I want to improve. Are there any objections? Subtropical-man talk

Looking at several online grammar sources, there appears to be consensus that when used as a title "pope" is capitalized but when "pope" denotes a job position, it doesn’t require a capital. For example, this site gives the examples: Pope John Paul II gave the sermon on Easter Sunday, and The pope always gives the sermon on Easter Sunday. More particularly, WP:MOS, which is the applicable resource you can consult for use within this encyclopedia, would generally prevail even if other style manuals happened to differ.
