Removed from the page:

Originally a cartridge was a small paper package, e.g. in an old book about making printer's type: After all the type has been cast: "The Boy will paper up each sort in a cartridge by itself". This is an obsolete usage.

This interesting fact probably belongs in an article somewhere, but doesn't belong on a disambiguation page. (per WP:MOSDAB).--Srleffler 13:53, 24 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cartridge

[edit]

Someone removed the cartridge from this page for video systems. First cartridge in such systems was introduced by Magnavox Odyssey and it directly is what English Cambridge dictionary desribes it to be: "a small part with a particular purpose that can be easily replaced with another similar part, used in a larger piece of equipment". Nor sure why someone is deleting the facts. It means wikipedia is partial at least and not a true encyclopedia. Allstone (talk) 16:06, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
