I've declined the speedy as there are several things here that assert potential notability. Her publishing for notable outlets is one, but it looks like she's also wrote a book that offhand looks like it would pass NBOOK on its own merit, based on the reviews in the article.
I think this would likely pass at AfD. There's enough coverage for the biography to justify having a page on the author. TBH, this is one of those situations where I think it's better to have an author page rather than one of the biography because we can cover the info just as easily on the author's page and this way, also cover some of her other works.
