Entire History section reads like an advertisement

• Weak oppose WP:CONCISE, and this article covers also the brand and the main destination of the term in absence of an article on the hypermarket (if you argue that is the primary target for "Carrefour"). Whether there should be a split between Carrefour Group and Carrefour (hypermarket) please raise separately as a split. Note Wikidata usually splits many subjects into separate items to be as specific as possible, but on Wikipedia there is a preference to merge similar topics together. DankJae 15:12, 6 July 2024 (UTC)

AI tag

Concerns were raised previously via tag about AI-generated content in part of this article, which is prohibited per WP:NEWLLM. This is a procedural talk page section to discuss it. There is no need to ping me in response. Read WP:AISIGNS for more information for why this is tagged; however, note that fixing the issue requires more than just changing the superficial signs.

I will note that I'm not the one who added the tag, and I'm not personally convinced. That section of the article was added in a lot of chunks, and something like Special:Diff/1189004230 does not sound like AI at all. Gnomingstuff (talk) 08:17, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
