Etymology?
[edit]Who is Caroline? Galagora (talk) 14:23, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
@Galagora:, it is named after king Charles II of Spain (source). Sahaib (talk) 14:28, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
Communications and media
[edit]The page could use a short section similar to Kiribati#Communications_and_media. Zatsugaku (talk) 14:03, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
Native name
[edit]Currently the article says: Native name: Islas Carolinas Nickname: New Philippines
How the heck is Islas Carolinas the native name? It was given by Spanish colonisers. Consider rewording.

Is Palau an Island?
[edit]Individual island list includes Palau but I believe that Babeldaob is the largest island in the country of Palau. Codwiki (talk) 01:19, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
Map doesn't show Palau
[edit]The first map in the infobox only shows the FSM part of the islands, excluding Palau. I corrected the caption to reflect this but it might be worth it to look for another image for the infobox. ~2026-36840-6 (talk) 15:22, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
