Genre

Ceterum censeo - this is clearly a work of gay erotic fiction. Calling it just 'a manga series' in the lede is utterly bizarre. 62.73.72.3 (talk) 15:42, 21 June 2025 (UTC)

It is a manga series, though, and the fact that it's a boys' love series is already listed in the infobox. If you want to call for adding genres to every lede of manga articles, you might need to bring this up with Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga as there many series that are part of "niche" genres but don't list them in the lead. lullabying (talk) 20:14, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

The fact that something is listed in the info box does not meant that it should not be stated in the lede as well. By this logic, the lede of Winston Churchill shouldn't say that he was British, a politician, a military officer, and when he was born, served in office and died, because these things are stated in the info box of his article as well. Re other manga articles about other niche genres, they certainly should state them in their ledes, too, but the fact that something is allegedly done wrongly in some other articles is not a reason to do it wrongly in this article as well.--62.73.72.101 (talk) 22:09, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
