Regarding Notability: please help us understand why it doesn't meet the guidelines. There is third-party coverage from sources like the Washington Post, and the company in the article maintains on of the top 10 largest car sites in the world in terms of traffic, also verified by independent sources. Updating/Improving Factual Info

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I just added some edits to CarGurus to update/improve some of the info. I tried to be as neutral as possible, but please feel free to point out anything I add that does not meet the Wikipedia standards.

One of the links I added is tagged as an unreliable source, but I couldn't figure out which one. If someone can point that out, I can easily update it.

There is a mention of a trademark dispute with Rich Rebuilds. I can find no credible evidence online of the dispute so was going to delete it, but didn't want to appear biased. LMK if it's ok to delete.

Full Disclosure: My agency works with CarGurus and they have asked us for help correcting some of this info. We are not a Wikipedia agency, so we will likely add some stuff that may not meet the mark. Our goal is just to make sure it presents the correct, up to date info to Wikipedia readers.

And I just figured out the proper way to do this is to submit a draft for review, so lmk if I should roll the changes back and use this process.

Privately owned by has a stock ticker?

The copy says CarGurus is privately owned, and its Board of Directors includes Steve Kaufer, co-founder and current CEO of TripAdvisor, and Simon Rothman, formerly Global Vice President and General Manager of eBay Motors., but then there's a stock ticker in the top? I guess they must have gone public recently and the text was not updated? Jun-Dai (talk) 12:21, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

Board of Directors Change

The section labeled "Business" reads "CarGurus was privately owned until its $150 million IPO on 12 October 2017;[6] its Board of Directors includes Steve Kaufer, co-founder and current CEO of TripAdvisor, and Simon Rothman, formerly Global Vice President and General Manager of eBay Motors."

According to CarGurus website Simon Rothman is no longer a board member and several board additions have been made. Set08 (talk) 19:04, 15 October 2018 (UTC)set08
