Etymology
[edit]The derivation of the word given in the History section of this article is entirley different from that given in the article Captain (armed forces). I suspect this one is correct but the other claims to be the 'ultimate' derivation. Can someone sort it out? 143.159.170.45 (talk) 08:08, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
